Whitney Port Interview about Whitney Eve

Two years ago, Whitney Port was just the star of the MTV reality shows The Hills and The City. Now she can officially add fashion designer to her list of accomplishments. The 25 year-old reality TV star turned entrepreneur officially launched her own fashion line called Whitney Eve in March of 2008.

And with the help of her TV show boss and fashion guru Kelly Cutrone, Whitney Eve is taking off. Whitney recently showed her 2010 collection at FASHIONmiami Presented by Chrysler.

She described the target market for her 2010 collection as "the glamorous career girl. Someone who can wear the clothes for work and then be able to accesorize it and glam it up for nighttime. It's a lot of metallic. It's a lot of really fun time separates, jackets, pants, some pretty cocktail dress."

One fashion piece she could not live without, Whitney's answer might surprise some of her more sophisticated fans. She has to have her black leather motorcycle jacket.

For now you can Whitney's separates and dresses online but she hopes to be at major retail outlets soon.
