Tony Winner Angela Lansbury Talks About Mame

During last nights' Tony Awards, Angela Lansbury was named the first Honorary Chairman of the American Theatre Wing. After over six decades in the business, the five-time Tony-winning actress accepted the honor and pledged to work to promote education in theater.

Lansbury was also nominated for her performance in A Little Night Music. At 84-years-old it's astounding she can even keep up the pace of a Broadway schedule, but Lansbury belongs on stage. In the past, she won Tonys for Sweeney Todd, Dear World, Gypsy, Blithe Spirit, and Mame.

Hear what she has to say about being in Mame in this Archive of American Television interview.
