Food and Film—When Worlds Collide

We love it when two of our favorite worlds collide and Saveur.com has provided us with such a moment. They've compiled a list of "Great Recipes from Famous Movies"—two of our passions, food and film.

Inspired by Julia Robert's latest flick Eat Pray Love, they started with a recipe for Cacio e Pepe Pasta Sauce—and the food fest begins.

Other dishes we're dying to try include Boeuf à la Bourguignonne from Julie & Julia, the Mac 'n' Cheese from Soul Food, Veal Chops with Rose Petal Sauce from Like Water for Chocolate, and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce from The Joy Luck Club.

While we're not fish girls, those who like a taste of the sea might also enjoy, Scallops with Saffron Sauce from No Reservations or the Taiwanese-Style Clams from Eat Drink Man Woman.

And no film feast would be complete without a sweet treat. We recommend the Chocolate Truffles from Chocolat covered with Willy Wonka's Chocolate Sauce.

Bon appetit!
