It's a family affair next week at the Cabrillo Music Theatre. Legend of stage and screen Shirley Jones (Mrs. Partridge to us TV fans) and her son/Broadway star Patrick Cassidy (brother to Shaun and half-brother to David) are appearing together on stage for the holidays.
Shirley and Patrick are performing for four days in The Cabrillo 2010 Holiday Spectacular. For six performances only, catch the mother and son team as they make the season bright along with a cast of 30 dancers, singers and elves. Think of it as the Valley's homage to the Radio City Rockettes mixed in with a few old time TV family holiday specials a la Andy Williams or Bing Crosby.
Before Shirley became known as the mother on The Partridge Family
, she was the star of hit musicals on stage and screen including Oklahoma
and The Music Man. Patrick has also been on the Great White Way numerous times including his recent appearance in 42nd Street. Join them to celebrate the season. The Cabrillo 2010 Holiday Spectacular runs from Tuesday, December 21 to Friday, December 24 at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks, CA.
