Alec Baldwin to Host SNL

If you're one of the many fans who've been waiting for months to see Betty White on Saturday Night Live this weekend, we hope she lives up to the hype. We're sure she won't disappoint.

But what will SNL fans have to look forward to once the Betty high has faded? We have good news.

NBC announced that Alec Baldwin will be back to host the season finale on May 15. As if that wasn't enough, he'll be joined by musical guest Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

With this, Baldwin's fifteenth appearance, he ties Steve Martin's record for most host appearances. We're assuming Martin won't let that stand and hope he'll come back early next season to take the title back. We love Alec, but in our opinion, Martin deserves to reign supreme in that category.

Regardless, we're just happy that for two weeks in a row, SNL is guaranteed to deliver solid laughs and classic skits. We can't wait.
