Miss Universe: Racy Photos, Curtis Stone, and Johnny Weir?

The internet is buzzing about the newly released official Miss Universe photos. Images of the lace-, fishnet-, and lingerie-clad contestants in steamy poses have gained a lot of fans as well as some big detractors.

In an official statement by Donald Trump, Executive Producer of the Miss Universe Pageant, he said, "We are in a different age. They are a little bit sexy, but I'll tell you what – everybody's watching, so I have no problems with it."

A lot of people disagree with this statement, claiming it's hypocrisy in an organization that as recently as last year tried to de-throne Miss California Carrie Prejean after some racy photos surfaced. See if this CBS Morning Show video helps sway you one way or the other.

We think it's about time the pageants admitted what they are and let the girls strut their stuff. You don't have to look if it offends you.

What does not offend us is the heavenly pop culture line-up chosen for the judges, hosts, and commentators for the show.

The hosts for the event are TV chef and Celebrity Apprentice star Curtis Stone and Today co-host Natalie Morales. Joan and Melissa Rivers will be providing backstage commentary on the girls, the maxi dresses, and the drama behind the scenes.

Our favorite judge on the panel, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, should bring a bit of sass to the table. Other judges include Carmelo Anthony of the NBA’s Denver Nuggets; Tara Conner, Miss USA 2006; Paula Deen, TV chef and host of four Food Network shows; Oscar Nunez, star of The Office; Phil Ruffin, American businessman; Suze Yalof-Schwartz, Executive Fashion Editor-at-Large of Glamour magazine; and Melania Trump, model and The Donald's current wife.

Though we are not exactly sure why most any of these people are qualified to judge and/or host, it should prove to be a fun night of TV. Be sure to tune in May 16 at 7:00 PM.
