Christine Woods on the FlashFoward Mystery of the Birds

FlashForward actress Christine Woods has moved on to a new job playing one half of the fairly normal pair on Perfect Couples. She may be onto the next thing but dedicated FF fans not forgotten last year’s underrated, canceled-too-soon series. It’s especially hard to let go when the Universe seems to be sending signals to devotees that maybe the fantasy show wasn’t that far fetched.

For those of you that missed the short-lived drama, here’s the premise. The entire world blacked out at the exact same time for precisely 137 seconds. Those with a future, saw where they would be roughly six months later. Those who didn’t have a vision could pretty much assume they might not live that long.

As the FBI started to unravel the bizarre mystery, they discovered other anomalies around the world. One of the most significant events was flocks of birds that dropped en masse from the sky. Sound familiar?

Any self-respecting FlashForward follower had to be a little bit freaked out recently when a bunch of blackbirds were found dead in Arkansas. Then came word of more occurrences in Sweden and Italy. Was it really due to a cold flash or was life imitating art?

Now back to Woods. In a recent exclusive interview we asked her what she thought when she heard about the bizarre parallel. See what she had to say below. And check out Perfect Couples on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. Central on NBC.
